The government has launched a new yojana named Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. This yojana is started for giving new jobs to the younger and also for doubling the rates of fisheries to 1 lakh crore. Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana aims to give the integrated and inclusive development of marine and inland fisheries for taking the profit from 20000 crores to 1 lakh crore and to plug the fisheries value chain for the eligible benefit for the government.

PMMSY – PM Matsya Sampada Yojana
Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana is one of the yojanas which will give a very good benefit to all the inland and marine fisheries and also give new employment to 55 lakh new persons In a very short time. In a press conference, the finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced a package of Rs 20 lakh crore for the development in the animal husbandry, fishing, and all other agriculture sectors under the scheme named” Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan”.

The government has extended the operation and said that an additional fund of Rs 500 crore rupees would be given to growing green vegetables, Tomatoes, onions, and all other green vegetables for the increased rate of sale for the farmers. The finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced that the farmers could take the subsidy for transportation and for cold storage. With the help of this yojana, the farmers have an outstanding benefit for them.

- People Suffering from Natural Disaster – The people who are suffering from the natural disaster or suffering from any other natural problem are also being added to this yojana to give relief to them.
