Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh state, Mr. Raman Singh has given the approval to start up a new scheme in the state. The state is known as Sanchar Kranti Yojana 2018. basically, this scheme is a free smartphone distribution scheme. Sanchar Kranti Yojana is also known as the SKY of Chhattisgarh state. Under this scheme around 50 lakh, smartphones will be distributed in the state. 

The responsibility of this scheme is given into the hands of the Info-Tech promotion Society of Chhattisgarh state. After the completion of the process to apply for this scheme, the Info-Tech Promotion Society of Chhattisgarh state will distribute the free smartphones. The promotion society has already started the preparation for the implementation of the scheme. So all the willing contenders of the state can apply for this scheme.

This Sanchar Kranti Yojana is launched to provide free smartphones even to the poor and backward people of the state. As the state government wanted them to bring near to the digitization. So that they can also add on to making a Digital India. The smartphones will also be useful for them in several basic ways, as making calls, using the internet, some other entertainment features, etc. On the 3rd of June, they release the Sanchar Kranti Yojana List 2018-19 Phase 1. 

The Phase 2 List will be released within few months. Most of the people of Chhattisgarh must have already applied for the scheme.
